This is a next-generation story. Because yes, it’s true. I’ve been writing about the Bravo family for long enough that the children of the original Bravo heroes and heroines are all grown up and ready for their own happily-ever-afters.
In this second-chance love story, Josh Bravo is the second-born son of Cash Bravo, the hero of my very first Bravo family story, The Nine-Month Marriage. Divorced with one young son, Josh has no plans to marry. Not ever again.
But when his good friend turned lover, Riley Thompson, finally breaks the news that there’s been a little slipup in contraception and a new baby is on the way, Josh suddenly realizes that he might be open to marriage, after all.
Too bad Riley has always been painfully clear that her beloved deceased husband was the only man for her. Josh may be changing his mind about matrimony. But Riley? No way. She’s had her one true love and she’s not trying again.
I loved writing this story. Riley was definitely determined not to surrender her heart again. But Josh just wouldn’t give up. Plus there are two adorable little boys—and a sweet stray mutt who finds his forever home.
