Hi Everyone,

It's cool and wet here today but I’m nice and cozy here in my home office, working on a yummy Montana Mavericks story that will be coming out in July 2026.

I’ll get to that new project in a moment. But right now, this year’s Montana Mavericks story, The Maverick’s Dating Deal, is still available wherever Harlequin books are sold. It’s about what happens when two heartbreakers, each through with love, decide to help each other out. He needs to get rid of his rep as a player. And she needs her mom to stop setting her up. So they agree to fake a relationship. Of course, it goes all kinds of wrong in the best kind of way.

And about next year’s Montana Mavericks story? Well, I’m just digging into this one. It has a more serious tone. The hero and heroine were in love once. Their affair ended tragically. And he left her. Now she’s pregnant with her ex-husband’s baby and the former lovers are discovering that what they once had together may not be over, after all.

And here’s something different. There’s football in this upcoming story. Lots of football. The hero was an NFL quarterback and now he’s coaching the hometown high school’s football team. No, I am not sportsy. Not in any way. But my husband loves football, so I’m getting info and tips from him. It’s a great opportunity to listen and take notes as he expounds on one of his favorite subjects. He’s only too happy to talk football—any time, any place. And I’m grateful to have a great source of information ready and willing to give me what I need any time I have a question. Win/win in every way.

Coming up very soon, I’m off to plot new books for you with my brilliant plotting partner. There will be wine (after the work is done, of course) and lots of laughter and I can’t wait.
