It’s release month at last for Redeeming the Maverick. This one is a delicious reunion story. I just love it when two people who couldn’t make it work the first time get a do-over after years apart.

Not that Hayes Parker really wants another chance. He doesn’t. But when his family needs him and the homeplace is in trouble, well, what else can he do but come home at last?

And of course, the situation in Tenacity turns out to be even worse than he’d imagined. The first person he meets when he arrives back to town is the girl he left behind—and the chemistry is still there, though both of them try their hardest to deny it. Then at home, his father is very ill—and still refusing to see a doctor. And the family ranch? It’s falling down around their ears.

Hayes has a lot to deal with. But the good news is he’s not the hotheaded, wounded boy he once was. One way or another, he’s going to save his pigheaded dad, rescue the ranch they both love—and maybe even get the girl he lost all those years ago.
